Unfortunately, events are sometimes canceled. This can be due to many different factors, and it can happen with very short notice. At Tickster, we encourage organizers to send information to their ticket buyers as soon as possible in case of changes to their events.
If an event is canceled, you should contact the responsible venue/organizer, who is responsible for questions regarding the possible refund of tickets if you have not received any information.
In many cases, Tickster refunds tickets for canceled events on behalf of the organizer.
How do I find out if my event is canceled or rescheduled?
The organizer usually sends an email to all ticket buyers when there are changes to an event. Otherwise, you can contact the organizer directly to get an answer. Look on their website or social media to find the correct contact information.
I still haven't received a refund for a canceled event.
Refunds are usually processed within 2 weeks after we receive information from the organizer regarding refunds, but sometimes it can take longer. When refunds are processed, the money is returned via the original payment method used in the purchase, and you will receive an email with information.
